Just a little bit about me.......

I'm Zoe - The Yorkshire Illustrator! I decided that I wanted to become a wedding and events illustrator so that I could combine the two things that I love; drawing and people!

When I got married, we opted for a small, intimate wedding, and thought carefully about how to make the day special for our guests. It really was just our nearest and dearest, the people who meant the most to us, and we wanted them to feel important. We also wanted guests from both sides to get to know each other and feel relaxed in each others company (we even mixed them up for the meal).

I think live illustration is a great way to achieve this. I love the idea of families and friends coming together, having something to break the ice, and giving them a little keepsake to make them feel special.

I have always had a huge interest in art, studying it through school, and then on to Art Foundation and University. I qualified and worked as a Graphic Designer before moving into Art Education. My other loves are the outdoors, my slightly rusty campervan, watching the Lionesses play football and spending time with family and friends!

I hope my drawings bring a touch of creativity and fun to your day, and provide a different way to cherish your special memories.
